Our Process
To ensure that each client's expectations are fully met, Kalico follows a similar approach for each project, no matter the size or scope. Our basic process is as follows:
1. Meet & Greet: At the start of each project, Kim will meet with you (either in person or via phone) to get an overview of the project in your own words. We will discuss the goals for outcome, audience base, overall look and feel, as well as the budget and timeframe.
2. Conceptualize: Once we have all the details we need, we will then start to perform our "design magic". One or two concepts (comps) will be presented to the client. Concepts may include a comp layout, color & font palettes, and potential imagery choices.
3. Present: Concepts will be presented to the client either in person or as pdfs via email. Upon client feedback, two rounds of author alterations are allowed. Revised comps will be sent to client as emailable pdfs.
4. Approve: Upon client approval, Kalico will release final files either directly to the client or to the printer. Final files may be supplied via email, ftp upload or on disk.
